A few of us from the clubhouse went Downtown Detroit to the Eastern Market on Saturday August 25th 2023. We arrived there around 10am; our first entrance stop was shed #5. We decided to split up in 3 active groups. My group began walking to see & explore all the many beauties the Eastern Market had to offer. You may ask what did they have to offer; well I'm glad you asked. They had tons of vendors that offered an array of vegetables, fruits and beautiful plants. We enjoyed the scenery and architecture there as well. The buildings had all sorts of painted art on them with some exciting wall murals. There was also plenty of art and street musicians for our entertainment. Our groups met back at shed 5 around 12 noon. we then went to lunch near where the food trucks were and sat on a park bench to enjoy lunch. after that we went back to our vehicle and headed home. We really enjoyed the Downtown atmosphere that Eastern Market had to offer.
